Rob Wigley is a singer-songwriter who splits his time between Durango, Colorado and East Texas. Rob was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He took up guitar at the age of 10 and played in various garage bands. He attended the University of Denver Lamont School of Music as a Music Ed major, with jazz guitar emphasis. After two years he pursued various interests while living in Northern California and Santa Fe, New Mexico. He moved back to Texas in 1982 and began a career in the financial services industry before finally retiring in 2017 (for the third time). Rob and his wife, Leslie, married in 2001.

Come Back to Colorado (2026)
After my last album, 7 Crows, was released, Leslie and I started thinking about writing songs for the next project. We asked Kate Willyard, who sings the background vocals on all my albums – and sings The Empty Chair on 7 Crows - if she would co-write some new songs with us. Kate agreed. We co-wrote 8 songs for this next record, and I wrote one by myself.
