‘Til The End of Time

‘Til The End of Time

So many years together with you.
So many joys and some tears that we’ve shared.
Yes, I remember all of those times.
You’ve been the very best partner in crime,
Yeah you.
All my life with you………

Chorus:
What I need you to know,
These feelings just seem to grow.
My simple wish that you’ll
Always be mine, darlin’.
Together ‘till the end of time.

So many sunsets seen with you.
We’ve watched the stars falling out of the sky.
Yes, I remember all of those times
You’ve been the very best partner in crime.
With me…….
All your life with me.

Chorus
What I need you to know.
These feelings just seem to grow.
My simple wish that you’ll
Always be mine, darlin’,
I’m glad you’re here with me
Throughout the years with me.
Together ‘till the end of time.

‘Til the End of Time – This was the first song written for this album. It’s a simple love song for Leslie. Scott Smith, my producer, had the idea to make this a duet with Kate Willyard and once he mentioned that both Leslie and I thought it was the perfect way to record this. I was influenced by a lyric that Fred Kosak, of the Stillhouse Junkies, wrote in his song “Michigan”. When I heard him sing, “with no one driving that getaway car” I immediately wished I’d written a song with getaway car in it! But instead, I came up with “partner in crime”. I also love the lyric, “my simple wish that you’ll always be mine, darlin’”. That’s no simple wish! While Kate was recording her vocals on this song Scott Smith commented that it’s the perfect wedding song. I’d never thought of that before, but I think he’s right!
