This was written while I was at University of Denver, after learning the chord progression of the D Major scale. I used it as a warm-up exercise for my fingers. I’ve updated it slightly, and dropped a bad third verse. This song and “Love Has Too Much Pride” are the only songs on this album that retain the original lyrics that I wrote in the 1970’s and 1980’s. This is one of the few happy songs on this album.
